About Me

One can be the greatest writer in the world (not that I am), be the first to write critiques and jump into any opportunity to blog, yet it can take you a lifetime to write a simple resume about who you are. Indeed, I cannot tell you all ABOUT ME but I can certainly tell you that the idea behind my blog was to share, from a very personal and honest point of view, my experiences and cultural knowledge.

A French Perspective

A French Perspective appeared to be the right name for my special project, simply because I cannot help judging and comparing everything to France! I had a very strong French education from my mom (I will describe her like the “real life Catherine Deneuve”) and the Oh so respected French Academy. So, I grew up discovering and learning all about French culture, traditions, protocol, gastronomy, literature, heritage…. I had almost the “Education parfaite”. Luckily for me, my mom fell in love with a very easy going happy Spaniard when she was young, so the Spanish part of me has always been able to judge France and the French from an external point of view. From an early age, my dual nationality allowed me to absolutely hate the French manners and their complicated character and, at the same time, love everything France is known for: culture, food, diplomacy, luxury, fashion, savoir-faire and you name it…

I am now blessed to be living and working in London, far but closer than ever to my beloved France… However, this blog is not one more website featuring the French clichés, grammar or topics: this is my personal page that I update according to my lifestyle whether I go on safari in Africa, to a concert in London or to a romantic journey through Provence. As a woman I love trying and sharing my thoughts on the best beauty secrets, fashion and trends but one thing is always important to me is quality. So wherever I go, I eat, I wear or I chose for a Holiday, it needs to be the best available (for my budget) and my only way of measuring experiences is from A French Perspective…

Love it or hate it, but hey, don’t we all somehow love the French je ne sais quoi?
